Programme overview

The congress will run for 2½ days, with the morning of 11th April featuring a number of pre-congress workshops, the topics for which will be published closer to the conference date. The programme proper will begin after lunch that day and will feature plenary presentations from world experts in CAM research and practice as well as leading international healthcare policy thinkers and administrators.   There will also be parallel sessions of symposia and oral presentations throughout the congress.

There will be 8 breakout periods during the congress, each of which will feature 4 parallel sessions of symposia and oral presentation sessions. We expect to offer at least 120 oral presentation opportunities at ICCMR 2013.

Congress venue

Getting to the venue

The venue is close to St Pancras International railway and tube station (0.9km), into which the Eurostar arrives, Euston railway and tube station (0.7km) and Russell Square and Euston Square tube stations.

Accommodation

As we are holding the conference during the Easter vacation period we cannot offer congress specific discounts. The best website to visit for a comprehensive guide to available accommodation is that of Visit London - the official London Tourist Agency

Conference dinner and entertainment

Dinner

There will be a gala conference dinner at the Connaught Rooms on the evening of 12th April and more information will be available shortly. You can see the walking route from the venue to the Connaught Rooms (1.2km) by clicking here.

Poster competition wine reception

There will be a wine reception during which poster prizes will be given on the evening 11th April in the exhibition hall and more information will be available shortly.

Posters

We hope to offer spaces for up to 200 posters at the congress.

Oral presentations

There will be 8 breakout periods during the congress, each of which will feature 4 oral presentation sessions in parallel. We expect to offer at least 120 oral presentation opportunities at ICCMR 2013. Speakers for oral presentations will be selected from those abstracts submitted for posters, with those being judged as being of the highest quality being offered a speaking opportunity.

Should you not wish to be considered for an oral presentation slot, you will need to indicate that at the time of submission. We will not consider submissions for oral presentations alone.
